Samaj ki Sabhayein: Connect with Kayastha Mahasabha Near You

What is Samaj ki Sabhayein?

Samaj ki Sabhayein is a free directory on Kayastha Setu (kayasthasetu.com) that lists every Kayastha Mahasabha and Sabha across India — from the national Akhil Bharatiya Kayastha Mahasabha down to your city's local sabha. Each organisation comes with its logo, office bearers' names and photos, and one-tap phone, WhatsApp and email contact buttons.

The Kayastha samaj runs on the dedication of hundreds of volunteers and office bearers who give their time to our community. Whether you want to join seva, organise a Chitragupta Puja, ask for help with a community matter, or simply know who leads your local sabha, Samaj ki Sabhayein puts that information in your hands instantly.

For more on Kayastha history and how our samaj is organised, see the Kayastha community guide.

Why Does Your Kayastha Family Need Samaj ki Sabhayein?

Real-Life Situations Where This Feature Helps

• Planning a community event — You want to organise Chitragupta Jayanti or a family puja and need to inform your local sabha or get their blessings and support.
• Joining volunteer work — You wish to give back to the samaj but don't know how to contact your city's sabha office bearers.
• Finding samaj support — A family member needs help, and you want to reach out to your sabha's leadership for guidance or community support.
• Connecting at a new location — You've moved to a new city and want to know about the Kayastha presence there and meet like-minded families.
• Learning about samaj governance — You're curious about how your regional Mahasabha works and who represents your state or district.
• Attending sabha meetings or pujas — You want contact details so you can get updates on when and where the next community gathering happens.

In the past, finding the right Kayastha Mahasabha contact in your city or state meant asking relatives or scrolling through old papers. Samaj ki Sabhayein removes that friction — one app, one search, instant connection.

How Samaj ki Sabhayein Works: Step-by-Step

Getting Started on the App

First, download the Kayastha Setu app on your Android phone or visit kayasthasetu.com on the web. Join with your mobile number using OTP verification — it takes one minute and is completely free.

Finding Your Local Sabha

1. Open the Sabhayein feature — From your app home screen, tap the Sabhayein banner or find it in the community menu.
2. Search or filter — Type your city name, state, or the sabha's name. You can filter by state to see all units in your Pradesh.
3. Browse the results — Each organisation shows its logo, short name, level (national, state, district, city) and headquarters city.
4. Open a sabha — Tap any sabha to see its full details: President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other office bearers with their photos and designations.
5. Contact instantly — Tap the phone icon to call, the WhatsApp icon to message, or the email icon to write directly to any office bearer.

The directory is structured so that state units appear under their parent Mahasabha, and city sabhas under their state, making it easy to find both your local contact and the bigger picture.

Understanding the Sabha Directory Structure

Kayastha organisations in India follow a pyramid structure:

When you open Samaj ki Sabhayein, you'll see this hierarchy: state and city units are linked under their parent body, so you always know which organisation oversees which region. This makes it simple to escalate a matter or understand the chain of command.

Tips to Get the Most Out of Samaj ki Sabhayein

For Individual Members & Families

• Save important numbers — When you find your city sabha's President or Secretary, add them to your phone contacts so you can reach out anytime.
• Attend sabha events — Contact your local sabha and ask about upcoming Chitragupta Puja, annual meetings or cultural events. Mark them in your calendar.
• Volunteer with purpose — Reach out and ask how you can contribute — every sabha needs help with events, admin, youth programs and family support.
• Use WhatsApp for quick questions — If you need a quick answer, WhatsApp is often faster than a phone call for busy office bearers.

For Sabha Office Bearers & Organisers

• Keep your details fresh — If you hold an office, make sure the admin team has your current phone number and email.
• Leverage the visibility — Knowing your sabha is listed here encourages members to reach out; be ready with meeting schedules and event calendars.
• Link to state and national bodies — Use Samaj ki Sabhayein to stay in touch with your parent Mahasabha and sibling units in nearby districts.

Privacy, Safety & How Your Information Is Used

All office-bearer details in Samaj ki Sabhayein come from the sabhas themselves — they share their own contact information because they want community members to reach them. This is public, community-facing information, not private data.

When you call, WhatsApp or email an office bearer through the app, Kayastha Setu does not monitor or record your conversation — you are contacting them directly. Your own phone number and profile remain private unless you choose to share them in your message.

If you spot outdated or incorrect information about a sabha, you can report it to the Kayastha Setu admin team, who regularly update the directory with the latest details from sabha leaders.

Samaj ki Sabhayein Is Free & Always Will Be

Viewing the complete directory, searching for sabhas, and contacting office bearers is 100% free for every Kayastha Setu member. There are no premium versions, no hidden fees, and no ads on this feature. The app team maintains the directory so the samaj stays connected.

If your sabha wants to be listed or if your contact details need updating, reach out to the Kayastha Setu admin team with your sabha's name, logo and current office bearers' information, and they will add or refresh it within a few days.
