Child Safety Standards

Kayastha Setu has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. How we prevent it, how to report it, and what we do.

Last updated: 24 October 2026 2 min read App & website

01Our zero-tolerance commitment

Kayastha Setu (a product of Eduresoft) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, message, profile or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits, endangers or harms a child is strictly prohibited on the Kayastha Setu app and website.

Kayastha Setu is meant for adults aged 18 and above. Users below 18 may not create an account, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

02What is not allowed

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — images, videos, drawings, AI-generated or text — in any form.
  • Sexualising minors in posts, comments, photos, profiles, chats or matrimony profiles.
  • Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes, or asking a minor for photos, meetings or secrecy.
  • Sextortion, trafficking or any attempt to solicit, sell, share or obtain sexual content involving minors.
  • Links to, or advertisements for, any of the above.

03How to report a concern

  • Inside the app: tap Report on any post, comment, profile or matrimony profile, or Report / Block in a chat. Reports reach our moderation team directly.
  • By email: write to our Child Safety contact at compliance@kayasthasetu.com with the member name / link and a short description. Please do not attach or forward illegal images — just tell us where they are.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 (police) or the CHILDLINE 1098 helpline in India, and report online at cybercrime.gov.in.

04What we do when we find or receive a report

  • Reported content is reviewed as a priority. CSAE / CSAM content is removed immediately and the account is permanently banned.
  • We preserve the relevant records and report the matter to the law-enforcement authorities in India (National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal / police), as required under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and to other authorities such as NCMEC where applicable.
  • We cooperate fully with law-enforcement requests.
  • Photos uploaded to the app are checked by automatic safety filters, and our team moderates posts, profiles and reported chats.
