Where exactly does my money go?
Only to the upkeep of the Kayastha Setu app and website and to growing it for the samaj — servers and security, OTP and SOS messages, live aarti streaming, AI features, new features and languages, and the team that supports members.
Is this a donation to a temple or a charity?
No. Your contribution goes to running Kayastha Setu. It is not an offering to a temple, a religious trust or a registered charity.
Will I get an 80G tax benefit?
No. Kayastha Setu is not a registered charity, so contributions are not eligible for 80G tax deduction.
How much can I contribute?
From ₹11 up to ₹1,00,000 in one contribution. If you wish to contribute more, you can make another contribution later.
Do I need to download the app or log in?
No. Just fill in your name, email, mobile number and city in the Contribute Now form and pay securely.
Is the payment safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, an RBI-authorised payment gateway. Kayastha Setu never sees or stores your card, bank or UPI details.
Can I keep my name private?
Yes. Tick “Keep my name private” in the form and you will be shown as a Gupt Sahyogi.
How is my personal information used?
Your name, email, mobile and city are used only to process your contribution, thank you and contact you about it, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.
